Road to Citizenship is designed to help qualified people become U.S. citizens. it provides useful information and a variety of different exercises including extensive practice speaking English clearly using the proven listen-imitate-compare method. And, all the text is spoken so that you can hear as well as read it.

Road to Citizenship is divided into nine major sections. Section 4 consists of nine units specifically covering the information you need to know to successfully complete the history and government test.

Developed by Elizabeth R. Blackmer and Fred W. Clough, Road to Citizenship contains both written and spoken English so you can study by both reading and listening. You can also keep a record of the work you have done in each section of the program.

Many helpful aids for teachers:

Use the program to prepare lessons, generate homework and sample quizzes and tests. Print blank application forms for practice. Set your state so that students can learn to pronounce and be quizzed on their state capital, governor and U.S. senators. Pluse there are many activities you can use to help students learn to speak, read, and write English.
