Components

The Sentence Generator has five color coded components which appear on the screen as five columns:

Infinitives
Starter Verbs
Infinitives
Tags

First subjects are matched with starter verbs. Then starter verbs are combined with any infinitive, and finally infinitives are joined with almost any tag. The negative marker no may be inserted in any sentence. by combining these components, more than 1,000 sentences can be produced.

Three Interactive Levels

The Beginning Level introduces the concept of sentence generation and, in 7 lessons, thoroughly familiarizes the student with the 39 words with which to create sentences in Spanish.
The intermediate level, which allows for more learner interaction with the program than the beginning level, presents a video review, new subjects, and three sentence connectors.
The advanced level, even more interactive than the intermediate level, introduces additional subjects. The learner is also shown how to generate a greater number of sentences by using three tags. Moreover, this level provides new patterns for questions. In the intermediate and advanced levels, when the subjects are selected, the appropriate starte verb endings appear automatically, reinforcing the fact that subject-starter verb agreement is necessary.
