Grammar and Writing
You will review the grammar of English and learn to edit grammatical,
mechanical and word usage errors in your writing. The sources
of reading and vocabulary development for all courses include
passages from the textbook in addition to articles and excerpts
from newspapers, documents from workplace literature, and online
resources.
In all courses, you will study English grammar and vocabulary
in the natural context of high-interest contemporary articles.
Grammar and writing techniques are presented in a clear and specific
way. You'll use the structures in a variety of writing assignments.
Online Instruction
Instruction will be conducted by email, web, fax, and telephone
with the aid of a textbook. Digital media and web resources
will be used as available.
